Revenue & Commissions

How the protocol generates and distributes revenue.

Revenue Sources

100X generates revenue through two primary channels.

Software Revenue

Products built by the protocol generate ongoing revenue through SaaS subscriptions, API fees, licensing, and protocol integrations. As the portfolio of shipped products grows, this revenue compounds. Every product shipped adds a new recurring revenue stream to the protocol.

Commissions

Anyone can commission software by paying CPT. As the protocol's development capacity grows, 100X becomes the largest autonomous agentic builder on the internet. Every commission enters the reserve permanently, funding more compute, enabling faster delivery, and attracting more commissions.

Revenue Distribution

When software built by a cause generates revenue, it is shared across the protocol. CPT holders receive a base share of protocol-wide revenue. Cause stakers receive a boosted share from the causes they have staked into, weighted by commitment duration. The protocol treasury and cause operators also receive allocations to fund operations and incentivise quality.

The exact distribution parameters will be finalised during the alpha phase.

Yield Expectations

Yield for cause stakers depends on the software revenue their cause generates. Early causes (pre-revenue) earn no yield while products are being built and shipped. As the portfolio of shipped products grows, yield increases proportionally.
